TBNE Membership Terms & Conditions

Sponsorship 

By signing up as a Sponsor on this website the agreement is between the signed up members business (the “Sponsor”); and Olly Clarke of The Big Networking Extravaganza, (the “Organiser”).

Together referred to as “the Parties”.

1. Purpose

The Sponsor and the Organiser wish to agree terms and arrangements whereby the Sponsor will provide the Organiser with financial sponsorship for the Organiser’s events (“Events”) and the Organiser will in return appoint the Sponsor as non-exclusive sponsor and will promote the Sponsor’s name and business (“Promotion”).

This Agreement sets out the details of those terms and arrangements.

2. Sponsorship Fee

The Sponsor agrees to pay the Organiser a monthly sponsorship fee of £25 payable each month for a monimum of 4 cycles (months).

3. Sponsorship Benefits

In return for the monthly sponsorship fee, the Organiser agrees to provide the following benefits:

  •  Free tickets to all standard events (does not include events which incur a surcharge such as Networking in the Woods, or organised meals).
  • A shoutout in the Big Networking Extravaganza social media group each week with a photo and contact details as provided by the Sponsor.
  • Sponsors will be given the opportunity to introduce and promote their business at the start of each event, provided they arrive on time. This promotional opportunity may be forfeited if the sponsor arrives after the event has commenced.

4. The Organiser’s responsibilities

    The Organiser shall: 

    • Deliver the agreed events with reasonable care and skill.
    • Promote the Sponsor’s Company as outlined above.
    • Notify the Sponsor promptly of any material changes to the events. 

    5. Use of Intellectual Property

    The Organiser is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Sponsor’s name and (where provided) logo for the purpose of fulfilling this Agreement.

    The Sponsor grants no other rights to its intellectual property.

    6. Circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party (Force Majeure)

    Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

    7. Term and Termination

    This Agreement shall run for an initial period of four (4) months from the Commencement Date.

    If either party does not wish to continue the Agreement beyond this initial period, they must provide a minimum of thirty (30) days’ written notice prior to the end of the four-month term.

    If no such notice is given, the Agreement will continue on a rolling monthly basis and may thereafter be terminated by either party by giving thirty (30) days’ written notice.

    Immediate termination is permitted in the event of:

    •  A material breach of contract
    • Insolvency or bankruptcy of either party
    • Events beyond the reasonable control of either party (see clause 7) 

    8. Limitation of Liability

    Neither party shall be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss. 

    Liability shall be limited to the total fees paid by the Sponsor under this Agreement in the 3 months prior to any claim. 

    9. Governing Law

    This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 

    10. Entire Agreement

    This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties and supersedes all previous discussions or agreements.

    Listing Agreement

    Listing Only Memberships are subject to moderator approval and may not be published if not meeting required information or standards.

    You MUST be the owner of a business to submit a listing, proof may be requested.

    Businesses that work under a Multi-level or Direct Marketing organisation, or similar MUST select the MLM Directory Listing Membership.

    If the wrong membership is selected or the moderator has an issue with your submission, it will  not be published until modified. No refunds can be made for unpublished, incomplete or unacceptable listing content.
